Workshop title: Renovating assessment tasks using AC: Geography achievement standards

Workshop abstract: In professional learning with secondary teachers, they identify that writing rich assessment tasks that allow students to achieve an ‘A’ is one of the greatest challenges to successfully implementing AC: Geography. Participating teachers in this workshop will engage in assessment design aligning the AC: Geography achievement standards, concepts and content descriptions to work towards building quality assessment.
