Sponsorship
Publishers, suppliers and supporters of Geography and Environmental Educators are invited to be a sponsor or trade exhibitor at the Australian Geography Teacher’s Association Bi-Annual Conference in January 2013.
The four day event is to be held at Perth College in Perth between January 7th-10th 2013. International and Australasian Geography teachers and academics will be invited to the conference to participate in a stimulating education program of presentations, hands on workshops and field trips. With the final documentation for the Australian Curriculum – Geography to be released in October 2012 for implementation in 2013 the conference will be a great opportunity to promote your organisations products as delegates will be looking for new and innovative ways to teach the various Geographical themes. We anticipate an unprecedented attendance at the conference in response to the need for professional learning as a result of the requirements of the new F-12 Geography Curriculum.
The conference organisers are offering geography/spatial industry and environmental related organisations, such as yours, very affordable sponsorship packages. We are keen to attract as many corporate sponsors as possible so that the teachers attending are provided with a wide range of resources and products for their geography classes. - To be recognised as the major sponsor for the conference on the AGTA website and all appropriate publications. Platinum sponsor logo to be larger than other logo’s and of equal size to the AGTA logo on all publications/materials

- Invitation to have 5 minute timeslot at the dinner to present products/company
- Invitation to provide conference bags, T shirts, conference pens, USB thumb drives, other promotional material incorporating a variation of the logo above

- Full page advertisement in the AGTA Geographical Education Journal (a refereed International publication)

Trade Displays
(Unlimited number available excluding GST)
We invite you to set up a trade display (one table and room for banners) at the Conference. You are also invited to participate in providing prizes for various social and happy hour events. This may be in the form of books, commercial products, software, etc. These will be promoted at the event.

- Non-Commercial/Government $150
- Non-Government Organisation $100
One free registration is available to Trade Displays – Price of other registrations is negotiable.
Ample time will be given to set up and remove displays from Sunday 6th – Friday 11th January. Two days of the Conference will be fieldtrips off campus.
Donations:
As this will be an event promoting Western Australia in many ways, especially fieldtrips, we are looking for donations of products/samples promoting WA, eg. wines, beer, foodstuffs, books, software, magazines, other items.
All donations will be duly advertised during the events.
Other: Your company may wish to consider other means of in kind and or expertise support for the Conference.
