Conference accommodation

Accommodation options include:

Perth College Boarding House

The Perth College Boarding House is located adjacent to the school on Lawley Crescent, literally a walk across the road to the Conference venue.  The leafy inner suburb of Mount Lawley is close to the CBD, (direct route on the 21 bus), as well as within easy reach of the outer metropolitan, hills, river and Swan Valley suburbs. The ambience, profile and excitement of being part of the Mount Lawley ‘café strip,’ with its eclectic array of cafes, restaurants, wine bars and pubs, adds a unique buzz to the School environment and places it squarely within the cultural heart of the city.

The boarding house offers 3 wings of single, twin and double rooms each with their own refrigerated air conditioning unit. Each wing has lounges and common rooms. A large common room and dining area will be available for the serving of breakfast.  Shared bathroom facilities can be found in each wing of the boarding house. 60 to 70 beds will be available on first come first served basis confirmed upon payment of registration fees.  Perth College has requested that the boarding house be made available only to adult delegates.

The cost for the week will be very reasonable:
From Sunday 6th January to Friday 11th – 5 nights                 $200 per person
From Saturday 5th January to Friday11th – 6 Nights               $240 per person

This includes all linen and a continental breakfast of juice, assorted cereals, yoghurts, fresh bread, preserves and tea & coffee.

Those participating in the pre conference tour may store their full kit at the boarding house from Wednesday 2nd January for the duration of the tour returning on the 5th January.

Other options

Perth has many options from serviced apartments, bed and breakfasts and hotels so suitable accommodation should not be hard to find. Whilst hotel rooms tend to be available and reasonably priced at this time of year, apartments tend to be well booked and on the expensive side of things!

Being the second week in January it is recommended you book early.
